The Solar vehicles

The Solar vehicles are recharged with alternative energy which powered from sun rays which is the solar energy. In fact it used mostly for car racing, bicycle and space rocket.

The solar car in these days, however, it’s rarely to find it because most of them are under experiment and the. On the other hand some of the solar car companies especially the Japanese ones, those companies didn’t spread like the carbon car companies.

The solar it’s more spread because it needs a small energy to work. In contrast, the solar car need more power because of the size of the engine. Moreover, the solar bicycle it’s more used and it’s cheaper also. This type of solar vehicles are spread more because it’s live more.

The solar vehicles it’s considered as on of the strongest solutions for the Cool Cities Because of several reasons, such as the cheaper cost and the natural energy that doesn’t leave a harm effects which due to a lot of natural diseases, such as the global warming.

" TDIC Project "

There is a lot of projects planned by Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC) in Abu Dhabi, those projects will applied to support the tourism and the ecocomy of the capital of the United Arab Emirates. Some of those projects are done, such as Shangri-La Hotel. Now I'm going to write about the the most and least project that I interested on it.

The most project that i liked it Emirates Pearl which has an awesome designing view that designed by the architec award-winning from Austria. This project cost 136 million US dollar. This hotel offered an excellant facilities espacially for the business and meetings. One of features on Emirates Pearl is that there are several kinds of leisures, for example: sun deck island, rooftop ‘chill-out’ deck and pool, hair salon and shops.

The least project is Al Bateen Wharf because it will take a location of the eldest place on Abu Dhabi. This project not that useful or even uniqe for Abu Dhabi because its consider as a normal projct thats mean there is nothin special make me say wow.

To conclude, the TDIC will support Abu Dhabi greatly on the next 10 years to on of the best 3 wonders cities.

Cool City Comments

Good Adaptations:

1) Hybrid cars & Solar ships: Those transportations recharged their energy by storage system, this adaptation consider as one of the best because its banned the burning of the cars oil which will reduced the carbon dioxide proportion on the air. This adaptation is an extremely useful alternative solution.

2) Solar powered plant farms: this adaptation used for providing the plants with energy which came from a connection with a solar powered machine.

3) Public transportations: The Light Rail Transit is of those Public transportations which factorized in the cool cities. These transportations used to reduce the percentage of greenhouse gases.

Bad Adaptations:

1) Complicated Towers: the design technology which provided with natural lights, water and being comfortable with the gulf regions climate.

2) The Cost: This city is too costly because it required a high quality features and options to free this city from carbon dioxide.

3) Water Shortage: This city is in fact an island which surrounded with water and that is rare.

My Carbon Footprint: Problems & Solutions

Carbon footprint is a measure method that illustrates how much does the human can affect the environment because of his or her activities in stead of greenhouse gases. The carbon footprint also measured capacity of carbon dioxide that we factorized it.

I found a website which can calculate my carbon footprint. This website is http://footprint.wwf.org.uk/. My carbon footprint is 3.70 planets out of 6.65 hectares. In fact my carbon footprint levels are very high because it scored more than the half and that considered as a dangerous level which is harmful for environment. Now I am going to outline the reasons that consists my carbon footprint and I will mention the solutions to reduce and banned my carbon footprint.

There are several factors that can contain my carbon footprint level. The major factor is my travelling by airplane which burned a massive size of carbon dioxide. The next main problem is that I spent more than five hours every day with my electronic devices and that used a lot of electricity which depend on burning oil. Another issue which is eating meat and fish and the difficulties to be a vegetarian because I am eating meat since my born.

There are several solutions to reduce my carbon footprint. One of the solutions is that to change my transportations as much as possible from cars and airplanes to bicycle or even walking. The second solution is to reduce my use on the electronic devices by using it for the significant requirements. The last solution but not the least is to change my food system to a healthy diet at least because its hard to me to be vegetarian.

To conclude, the solutions to reduce my carbon footprint are a lot, but the problem is to apply these solutions to the real.

“An Inconvenient Truth"

“An Inconvenient Truth"

“An Inconvenient Truth" a movie was made by a formal presidential candidate Al Gore. In this Science film he focuses on one the most significant problem in our life which is global warming. Al Gore illustrates his presentation film in an exciting way which makes it won two academic awards. Collecting pictures, statistics, graphs and also funny videos, all of that made this issue "Global Warming" a Fact that many people were not aware of it or some of them were not believe in it. Al Gore makes an excellent example of one solution to reduce CO2 level (Smoking). He started a campaigned against smoking cigarette after his sister death from lung cancer. Al Gore family also closed a tobacco farm which they had in the past. Although he tried to protect the people from global warming but there was a cane of coca cola on his desk in China, which is a bad example for the people.

In conclusion, I believe that Al Gore tried hard to deliver the idea of what the world is facing, and what the harmful effects could happened if we don't move fast to stop or even ban the reasons of the Global warming.

Global Warming

On Feb. 2, 2007, the United Nations scientific panel studying climate change declared that the evidence of a warming trend is "unequivocal," and that human activity has "very likely" been the driving force in that change over the last 50 years. The last report by the group, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, in 2001, had found that humanity had "likely" played a role.
The addition of that single word "very" did more than reflect mounting scientific evidence that the release of carbon dioxide and other heat-trapping gases from smokestacks, tailpipes and burning forests has played a central role in raising the average surface temperature of the earth by more than 1 degree Fahrenheit since 1900. It also added new momentum to a debate that now seems centered less over whether humans are warming the planet, but instead over what to do about it. In recent months, business groups have banded together to make unprecedented calls for federal regulation of greenhouse gases. The subject had a red-carpet moment when former Vice President Al Gore's documentary, "An Inconvenient Truth," was awarded an Oscar; and the Supreme Court made its first global warming-related decision, ruling 5 to 4 that the Environmental Protection Agency had not justified its position that it was not authorized to regulate carbon dioxide.
